WHAT MAKES AIRDYE® DIFFERENT?

AirDye® uses the process of sublimation - transfering inks to fabrics by the use of transfer paper combined with heat and pressure. While the application method is similar to traditional heat transfer printing, AirDye® uses various proprietary technologies that make it superior to similar technologies.


AIRDYE® PAPER

Our customized paper is made in Japan using high quality pulp that is FSC-certified and coated with non-toxic chemicals to allow for a high sublimation level of inks.


AIRDYE® INKS

Our customized inks have been designed for quick release, deep penetration, and quick dry while giving brilliant colors with great performance.


AIRDYE® PULSE

Our machines are able to transfer inks on to fabric and have them penetrate deep into the fibers using relatively low pressure, thus enabling better handfeel of fabric and even dyeing compared to conventional heat transfer printing.


AIRDYE® COLOR MANAGEMENT

Our proprietary IMBU® Color Management System enables us to create color accurately, quickly, and seamlessly from development to sampling to bulk.


AIRDYE® CONTROLLED PENETRATION

Our machines can control the penetration of color thus enabling the possibility of Backside Coloration without shading even on the finest of fabrics.
