Debs Inc was originally established by Sana Debs in 1989 in order to cater to the Mexican market as a textile agent representing Debs Corporation from Japan. At the time, Debs Corporation had already established commercial relations in all the continents around the world, except in Mexico and South America. Mexico had just opened its doors to imports in 1985 and there was an evident lack of quality fabrics.   Debs Inc first tested the market by introducing Debs Corporation's   products in a textile fair in Mexico. The Japanese silk-like polyester fabrics grabbed the attention of the Mexican customers and since then, sales grew at an incredibly rapid pace. The customer base was vast and Debs Inc adapted quickly by catering to the wholesale, retail, and manufacturing markets, including some of Mexico's top brands.   Eventually, Debs Inc expanded sales into other markets in South America, namely Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil, making Debs Inc the official representative of Debs Corporation in Latin America.   In the early 1990s, a huge influx of Korean, Taiwanese, and Chinese companies into Mexico created increased competition in the textiles market. Under the leadership of Sana Debs and her drive to become the most efficient, reliable, quality-conscious textile sourcing company in Latin America, Debs Inc was able to expand its supplier base to other Asian regions. The increased demand for fashion also prompted Debs Inc to represent European textile converters and mills.   In the mid 1990s, Mexico and South America experienced a revolutionary change when garment manufacturers realized that it was more cost efficient to outsource garment-making. This prompted Debs Inc to start its Garment Division which has now expanded its sourcing from Italy, Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka for both mens and ladies wear. In 2002, Debs Inc opened its Brazil garment sourcing office, Debs Brasil Ltd.   Debs Inc continues to maintain its leadership in the Latin American market by providing customers with the right combination of friendship, pricing, flexibility, and service.
